We need a piano version of "Black Hole Sun." We just didn't know that we needed it.

...Nobody asked for a wonky player piano saloon version of “Black Hole Sun” but Westworld surely gave it to us. In another cleverly embedded detail within the show, the player piano in the dusty Westworld saloon run by Madame Maeve (Thandie Newton) and her band of prosthetic prostitutes lurches to life with a simple version of the 1994 track off the famed alt-rock band Soundgarden’s album Superunknown.

there's a saloon-whorehouse piano, and in the premiere, you'll detect Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun," and later without the piano, The Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black" in a unique configuration. The second episode of the series finds the saloon belting out some Radiohead. This is hopefully something that will continue as long as the show remains on the air, because it's a subtle, interesting easter egg to hear. You'll first hear the song, you'll realize it's familiar, and then you'll eventually remember what it is.
