Haley slays at Lollapalooza 2012

Last year Lollapalooza was streamed live on youtube.com,hopefully they will do it again this year

If this happens this year, and B.o.B actually does do a guest spot for "Oh My", they will surely stream that right?

The streaming ran non stop for the whole weekend last year but if B.O.B were to show up, I would imagine the media would be all over it like flies on ..well, you know what I mean

Today (March 16), Dell and YouTube announced an exclusive partnership to deliver live webcasts of this year's four major music festivals: New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits (ACL).

Just not sure if Haley's set will be streamed.

You know, this year here in Brazil, Lollapalooza was broadcasted on a cable channel - the whole thing. It was awesome, I'd imagine they'd do the same there.

Up to 8 acts are performing at Lollapalooza at any even given time, including when Haley will be performing. Here is what's going on during her set.



Certainly we'll get some good video from the fans but as far as streaming or feature video, that doesn't seem highly likely.

Babs234, another Wheeling/Chicago Halien posted this on IDF about what she could find out about Lollapalooza from Harry

OK so I was able to have a small chat with Harry Reinhart (Haley's dad) in between his sets with his band last Friday. I was trying to get some info about Haley at Lollapalooza. The night was busy and kind of chaotic. Lots of people and a few people waiting to talk with Harry. So please dont hold me to anything I might imply here.

Harry was friendly and very accomodating as usual. I asked him if he was going to play with Haley at Lollapalooza, and he said one of the band members, I think Courney, asked him if he wanted to join them but he told them he didnt think so. he said this shaking his head no. Maybe he wants to let Haley shine on her own.

I asked him if Haley was going to play any "new" songs from her album (meaning songs we havent heard her play live yet) and he said " She's going to play her whole album". I said that her set was only 40 minutes long so how could she play all the songs. (Im thinking Deluxe ) he said 40 minutes would mean at least 9 songs so she would definitely "play ones we havent heard live yet!!

I was trying to think of songs to ask about as examples, and of course i couldnt think of any. :"> My mind went blank. People were waiting to talk to Harry and I felt rushed. But i did ask him about Spiderweb and he said "That's more of a rock song and she will definitely play it'

I also asked him about Oh My and having BOB join Haley to sing it. He said no,"that was not going to happen"

I thanked him for talking with me and that was the end of our conversation.

So Lollapalooza is still a month away, anything can change, right?

But im very excited at the thought of hearing Haley sing songs we havent heard like Spiderweb or Follow Me
Both Haley's parents are playing in their band this weekend, so Im going try to speak with her Mom and see if she knows more. :thumbs:
