While I remember Piscopo's Sinatra imitation from the SNL, at first I had thought this was Damaini (I skipped ahead from the intro). Basically the same song parody as I posted above

At the very last minute I decided to go to the show at Resorts in Atlantic City last night - my sixth time seeing Haley. It was a great show, Haley looked gorgeous and her vocals were brilliant as usual, Joe Piscopo did a few Sinatra style songs and was hilarious, the No Vacancy Orchestra was on point and Dave - was Dave. I live in southern Maryland and it's close to a 4 hour drive to AC without traffic so I really hadn't planned on going. However it had been one year to the day from my last Haley experience, at Bethesda House of Jazz and Blues, and I just realized I'll be out of town when her tour comes through the DC-Baltimore area in November. I was panicking a bit, so what to do? What else, buy a ticket in the morning, slip out of work early and head to New Jersey. I hoped to miss the bulk of the traffic on I95 through Baltimore and Philly but unfortunately I failed to do that so 5 hours later I got to Resorts in time to get a bite to eat and head to the Superstar theater. It's a great venue with lots of history. There may be 500 seats and as near as I could tell it was close a full house. Surprisingly I had a good seat in the second row. I think these might have been part of a same day pre-show release of tickets. I did bring my camera and took videos with limited results. I had a lady in a hat in front of me that couldn't settle down for most of the show so I'm afraid I have a lot of video of the back of her head. I'll take a look at the video tonight and post anything useful. The show ended about 10:30 and I thought about sticking around but still had a 4 hour drive home so I took off. The good news - not much traffic at 3:00 am! One further note about the show, which bills Haley as the headliner. Clearly somebody realized Haley would be the big draw, and I think the bulk of the audience was there to see her. It's still pretty much the same mix of Dave and Haley though, about 50/50. The version of BHS posted above was a highlight IMO and they also did a very good version of Baby It's You. Unfortunately adding these meant subtracting At Last, one of my favorites. Overall a very good experience.

You chose wisely, right now, Haley's shows are fairly rare, though they are more frequent and accessible to fans than previously, so it's always been my advice that if she even comes close, you should definitely make the trip, who knows when she will come closer, if ever, again

As I've said often, if the Mountain does not come to Muhammad, then Muhammad must go to the mountain....How often have we seen tweets of people imploring Haley to come to their town after she had just performed at a show one town over?

Coming from someone that has now traveled overseas twice to see Haley and finally rewarded w/ a show in my 'town' (I live 30 miles north of Seattle), I have no pity for people that won't drive a 'couple' hours for the show, especially if you've had advance notice

Thanks for the report Popfly. Glad to hear it was about a full house and lots of Haleyfans at the show. It is also nice to see Haley out doing shows -- it's probably good for her to get out of Chicago for a few days.

I don't think you're alone At Last being a favorite, whenever I post At Last, it always gets a good response, the one I posted from Paris is tops in views from Europe. I'm kind of surprised that would be dropped too...

I thought Haley was also sharing the bill w/ Landau Eugene Murphy Jr, never saw anything w/ Joe Piscopo...so I'm gathering Joe might have been called in to pinch hit for Landau seeing as he was also a news item on TMZ and probably has bigger things to deal with?

She sang 2 sets of 3 songs each. Set 1: Gee Baby; BHS and Baby It's You. Set 2:You Know I'm No Good; CHFIL and Creep. Then Dave joined her for a duet of the Beatles All My Loving. So yeah pretty much the same amount of time on stage as other shows with Dave. Six songs, add BHO and Baby It's You, drop At Last and 100 Days. There was never any mention of other guests like Landau or Renee although Damiani and NVO have been playing weekends in AC all summer so I believe they have joined him for those shows. As the playbill that John posted notes, the show was billed as Haley Reinhart with Dave Damiani and NVO. Based on the crowd reaction when Haley left the stage after each of her short sets I believe their expectation was there would be more Haley (less Dave). That certainly was my preference and hope. It's Dave's call. I have to believe he sees Haley has got star quality and takes advantage by giving her top billing on the adverts but doesn't really change the show. Oh well. It's a great band and good exposure for Haley. maybe next time, if there is one. I just wish Dave wasn't such a lounge singer. It was especially evident this time with Piscopo doing his version of Sinatra next to Dave's ( they did a duet as well). To me it's really not close, Piscopo by a mile.
