Maybe they'll save "Oh My" for the finale of season 12 as a duet and have Tony Bennett sing the Rap part. That'll make him leave his heart in San Francisco.

I wonder if 19 Recordings had a hand in this and if it's an indication that "Oh My" was intended to be the second single.

Or maybe an indication that "Oh My" may still end up being a second single.

Would she release it through a new label? I thought Interscope owned it

Even though Interscope didn't renew Haley's contract they'd be stupid not to continue (or semi-continue) marketing/sales of the Listen Up & BICO product they developed with a bit of promo on their own, or at least from their affiliated company 19. This album is definately not left for dead!

Interscope does own it. But who's to say there couldn't be a resurrection of LU there has to be a way.

Hope to hear those songs done on Idol next season. It might refresh some idol fans memories regarding Haley, and gain some new fans as well. Maybe idol will even have to pay Haley/Interscope. Either way, at least it's an "In Your Face" to Randy.

RE: Two Haley songs cleared to sing on American Idol
Wish it were Undone or Hit the Ground running..

I'm not 100% terribly impressed with the song Oh My... I like to hear Haley sing it and I do like the new bridge (replacing the rap) a lot (maybe the best part of the song now?) ... it just seems like something very easy to fail miserably at if not done just right
... that song is more about Haley than the song.. other songs on the album that Haley helped write can be covered by far far more singers and have them sound at least decent doing it.. and the song would sound good.

I'm not really that fond of free either.. it can really fall into being grating and boring to me very easily. I certainly havn't enjoyed almost any of the covers fan covers (obviously from idol autditions more people think they can sing than actually can.. but sounds particularly rough with a mediocre voice) I did really like Haley's version done on that talk show (the vibe?) and other very similar accoustic version with just her and knotto . I think its core piano accompanyment (da da dum da da dum) that irritates me.

Undone could be beautiful by so many of the girls with great voices that are enevitably on the show .... while Haley brings more to it, a straightforward ballad/diva version would still sound fine.

Fast songs like hit the ground running can be high risk of elimination weeks so often... but, Hit the ground running does have some room to "run" with ... (things aren' always....)
