What an awesome show I picked to go to!! I'll admit to a little buyers remorse after I bought my ticket. The usual; its pricey, how many songs will she sing since she's sharing the billing and also my daughter invited me to an event that I had to decline (parents will understand that one). But Haley brought her A+ game. I've heard people say she was on another level and she absolutely was! Haley's stage presence, energy and singing were the best I've seen yet. Maybe because she's performing more or maybe the influence of other musicians she's hanging with, whatever it is it seems to be working to her advantage. No sitting on a stool but dancing and groov'n during her entire set. She was fierce! Her whistling during Sitt'n On The Dock Of The Bay was remarkable. Who knew that she had that talent too?!! Scatting, mouth trumpet and now whistling? What other hidden talent does she have? She had the crowd engaged and participating the whole time and it was obvious there were many fans of hers there. A late Sunday night concert worked in our favor as it probably limited the number of fans in attendance but it was an enthusiastic audience.

Yanni asked me at the end of the night if i still had buyers remorse and I had to tell him with a laugh an emphatic NO! Hanging out with Halien friends during the weekend and seeing and talking to Haley and hearing a great concert was worth every penny I spent!! With the added bonus of seeing Rachel give Haley her card, just more icing on the cake!

Thanks for giving your take on the evening. Looking at the videos Haley does seem to have extra shine and joie de vivre. It looks like her rapport with the audience was great and she had fun with her fellow performers. She seems to really enjoy working with Ballas (as in the street video of Rock Your Body) and Dylan plays well and he pays attention and communicates with the others while playing.

The show sounds like it was a great experience. Did Haley win over the audience as a whole, or mostly just the hard core Haliens?

Haley has a whole lot more fans than I thought! They're just not hardcore online like us, but the whole crowd was loving her and jamming out, people I didn't even realize who were there just for her. It was so cute watching all these people get excited to take pictures with her too!
