RE: Fall Tour Dates
I'm not sure this is true at all shows, or even at all...I'm considering making the drive to Portland's show and saw this...

And sorry for all those not close enough to concerts, the US is such a large country! But someday it'll happen, think for how long tusk has lobbied for a Seattle stop!!!

True....I actually stopped mentioning for quite a while now LOL Blush (although I couldn't help hinting about it at least twice in my HOTM interview Blush ) I'd like to think out of a tour of many repeat venues, adding Seattle was finally throwing Tusk a bone Blush

I think Haley covering Black Hole Sun in Chris Cornell's neck of the woods will have a special resonance Heart

Well at least you could see PMJ tonight in your hometown of Rochester, NY.

Looks like I'll be altering my Florida vacation by two days so I can spend my birthday in Minneapolis & the next night in Chicago before flying out the next morning to Orlando.

Yeah, the turn out in Pittsburgh last June wasn't so hot. Of course, the US Open was in town hogging up hotels and it was Father's Day weekend so I'm guessing that had something to do with it. That and lack of any sort of promotion from what I heard from locals. Guess we'll be living vicariously through everybody's videos. Thank GOD for all of the traveling Haliens!
I was at the Pittsburgh show at the Club Stage AE last year and it was about half full. But as noted, there was NO PROMOTION for the show, not even a mention in the Post Gazette weekend listing of events. Her song CHFIL was not playing on local stations so no promotion there either.
So, if you were not a Halien or following Stage AE on Twitter, you would not have known she was there.
Hopefully, Concord Records will be more on the ball, getting her ads and promotion, interviews on local radio/TV stations, etc as the tour progresses.
Anyway, no sour grapes from me about not visiting Pittsburgh. She has been here just last year. I can get to Baltimore or DC perhaps. If Haley's new CD takes off, she can surely add more dates. I am just glad she has announced a US tour as this could be a breakthrough year for her....
I did enjoy the intimacy of Pittsburgh's Stage AE last summer. But the only thing on the venue saying that Haley was there was an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of plain white paper saying "Haley VIP Starts Here"

I was close to grabbing seats for the PMJ show tonight when I found out about it a couple weeks back. It's just not the same without our girl BUT several people I work with are going because of me.

They basically sold out the Eastman Theater. (2400 capacity) Only back grand balcony seating left and I expect that to fill up from walk ups.

If Haley WAS going to be here I would've taken the day off and hung around downtown with Rebecca & Rachel. You KNOW the cast will be milling about the festival and it would have been cool to see HER in the Wild.

No western, PA huh? Why am I not surprised... Every artist does this so Haley wouldn't be any different. Everyone always goes to Philly... Undecided

Guess I'll be missing this tour as well... And traveling isn't an option for me. So yeah... Sad

That's a shame. Pittsburgh is a good place to see a concert...

She deserved more promo, but Haley is always deserving of more promo. I think with Concord she's finally getting it.

I feel like this will be her year too! (Not to jinx it though because wasn't 2012 supposed to be her year? Sad)

Let's hope this album does as well as it can. More tour dates added would be both a plus for her and her fans. Smile

I agree Steve. And a "benefit" of the small crowd was the smaller, low riser stage set up that allowed us to be literally feet away from Haley. Front row, separated by only a waist high open barrier and pretty much at eye level. And you capturing Haley singing to my girls was amazing. They still get "goosies" when we talk about.

Hard to believe that was just a year ago. And it probably wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for you (Steve) who chauffeured the 3 extra riders 4 and 1/2 hrs from Webster NY to Pittsburgh AND videoed our M&G. We never really had the chance to thank you properly, I feel. I also think I must have stiffed you on splitting meals or gas. So if that's the case, let me know and we can square up.

You get more vote for the next HOTM, home town Halien!!!

Okay, I have a question. Both the Seattle and Portland venues are accessible to me. I have never seen Haley live before. Which venue would give me the best first time Haley experience? Seattle is closer but I am more familiar with Portland. Thanks for any input in advance... Big Grin

RE: Fall Tour Dates
Cool deal.. I bet SF sells out quickly.

edit.. I see now that the dinner seats are on the balcony .. VIP seats will let me stand on the floor so no conflict.
