Some how I link that driving blues styel to these sort of Bay Area out doors sights.. so much blues on the streets when I was younger.. street festivals in every neighborhood every week of the summer plus all the times sitting on back decks of restauraunts..

I quit drinking 6 years ago but ... I can almost taste an Anchor steam beer beeing outside on a vivid evening listening to the blues.

As I have lived in Southern California most of my adult life, up until two years ago where I visited my mother in Houston Texas and ended up staying due to her passing away. California has its ghettos beaches mountains and deserts. The farther up Interstate 5 you go like past San Francisco, or Dillon Beach or papilloma, Northern California to me is as scenic and picturesque as New England. Going up Highway 1, love going to those little towns with population 60 or so. I hope to get back to Southern California shortly as my children live there and my grandchildren also. Texas is no place for me. And I do miss the sunsets especially if you are on the coast, like Santa Barbara on the pier gorgeous sunsets Maybe i can see the Hales in West LA.

Midnight, do you still play in a band? Mr. Babbs played guitar in a band for years in Chicago. (now he is relegated to the basement) When we were young, I would go listen to the band every w/e (played till 4am in some places). So I love all this stuff. This brings back memories...

That's why I enjoy going and hearing Midnight, Haley's parent's band too. It is soo much fun!!
