JUST a thought,I mean no disrespct to Amy winehouse,And i am having a hard time with this, so if i am out of line please tell me.I a interview about 2 months ago with MTV Haley stated that she was lucky to have strong women in her life like Duffy, Corinne bailey, Esteranza Spalding and Amy wienhouse. She said they were very inspirational to her style of singing.And now the passing of Amy.All of my condolences to her family.And especialy to her mom and dad.I as of a father of 3 daughters could not comprehend such a great loss.Haley said this is the right time for her music and now she gets a contract.Well what im trying to say is do you think the fans of amy will now to turn to Haley music for a replacement.You can call it fate or destiny, but could Haley be that replacement?. Like i said this hard to get this thought across without being condesending to Amy So help out and give me some feed back.This was a hard one Sad

In her latest interview, Haley said she wanted take her time with her first album and produce the type of album her fans are expecting and that she could be proud of -- not pop music. If she does that, as well as she desires, I'm sure she'll draw the attention of some of them. Others though won't give her a listen because she came from Idol and hasn't lived and suffered enough to be a true artist (according to them).

Yup you have to pay your dues.Thats why i such a hard time with James.He is just a wana be metal head who hasnt paid up yet.any one who stayes in the recording industry for a lenght of time will suffer Drugs booz fortune fame living in the lime light.Many young artests get caught up in that life style.I just hope Haley stayes true to her faith

I've never been emotionally invested in an artist before. I've never understood why people became upset at the deaths of celebrities they didn't actually know. But if the Haley we know today were to go down the path Amy Winehouse followed I would be deeply saddened.

I want her to have a quiet life more like Tom Hanks -- respected by her peers, commercially successful for a long time, married a long time, a parent with good kids and generally not in the limelight unless promoting something.

What is is with Haley.Same here. I have never bin so invested is a singer or emotionally involved>I thought i was the only one than i started reading posts about this woman.And to find out there are millions of people that feel the same way.I was never on the seen with AI and i watched it a few times this seasion.I thought Haley was just ok and kinda foxy looking,but when i herd her sing BATJ that was it for me. Smitten to the core.So yes i would be saddened if anything happened to Haley.So whoever reads this post and if you believe in God. say a prayer for her.

The thought occurred to me as well that with Amy Winehouse's passing that somehow Haley could fill the place left empty by here death.

Amy loved Jazz. Haley loves Jazz. Check.
Amy loved the Blues. Haley loves the Blues. Check.
Amy loved sultry Soul. Haley loves sultry Soul. Check.
Amy loved alcohol and crack cocaine. Haley loves milk. No check.

On second thought. Let Haley be Haley, and let her enjoy every step of the way. I think that's how she is. She concentrates on what's in front of her right now. One step at a time.

In a quote from celebrty news said Haley Rienharts record deal comes at a good time.With Adel dominating the music business,and in the wake of Amey Winehouse death,People are looking for female singers with soul and raspy voices.Rienhart has comfortably fits into that slot

Thats why i had a hard time trying voiceing this.I had a feeling in me that Haley could be a replacement for Amy, but i didnt know if it was to soon to speek of it, and if there was any of Amys fans who would read this,I didnt want to offend them..But i did read in one of Haleys interviews that she felt this was the right time for her music...............But amy is amy and there couldnt be another singer who could duplicate her voice competely but Haley could come close
