I can't wait to hear her perform a full version of 'Undone" (one with the verse that was cut out.) Her performance of 'Undone' was purely amazing!

At 3:16. after she says 'Undone' once, you can tell that she is about to go back into the "I'll come around again" verse, because she says the word "I." Instead of repeating the verse (an obvious and potentially huge mistake) she covers her mistake up by quickly changing the "I" to the word "Undone," which left her no choice but to cut out the final verse. She made a good decision, and someone listening for the first time would not even realize she had made a mistake in the first place.

Well, I can certainly understand the logic behind the observation...it is a very straight forward explanation...but the conclusion that it was a mistake or unintentional change to the ending is not conclusive. Whoever is the real Haley Reinhart on this site will straighten it out eventually.

Yeah Buzzzzzz. She did eff it up. There was a lot of treading water there waiting for the end, and the band kept going probably because they've usually had the original track playing in the background. They couldn't just go off and improvise unless Courtney shut things down on his laptop - but then the sound would drop off noticeably.

If you listen to the original undone, it does kinda go on and on and on and on. So, I think it would be easy to get lost. I have actually made mental edits on that song. I also have made the same type of edits on Keep Coming Back. It gets a little too much as well as it makes the final turn.

Was giving the new edit to OM some more thought. While I thought the rap was poorly executed in the original recorded version, it's not a bad idea. I've always thought the problem was the wrong rapper. The song is a fun campy almost Austin Powers type song. Someone like Andre 3000 would have nailed it - I believe he would get the campy part and know how to do it right.

So. Having said that and knowing that the rap must be removed in order to perform it live, I just don't really think the current changes work. I think that maybe they are trying to do a psychedelic type inlay there and this, along with the new lyrics doesn't work with the campy theme of the rest of the song. The lyrics sound dorky - and I actually think they were trying sexy? I'd either stay with the current theme and get some help with a few lyrics or just maybe listen to some Duffy for inspiration. @2:13
