I might go to the rescheduled show in Rosemont, IL. It shifted from July 7 to August 14. But I'd feel like I should only pay half price because I have absolutely no interest in seeing any of the guys perform. The ticket sales area at the Allstate Arena is half the size that was available for the sold-out show for Haley's season. The only advantage there is that the cheapest seats this season are now about 200 feet closer to the stage than they were in 2011.

I'm not interested in seeing the show this year at all....the only people I really liked this year are Angie and Candice. If they did a show together by themselves then I would go!

'American Idol' Summer Tour: Ticket Resales Down 347 Percent from 2012

Statistical data compiled by StubHub point to a weak trek, which already has called off a quarter of its scheduled dates.

StubHub, which was founded in 2000 and bought by Ebay in 2007, notes that Idol tour resales -- individual and fan-to-fan transactions -- peaked in 2011, when season 10 winner Scotty McCreery and his fellow finalists hit the road. But the following year, sales decreased nearly 10 percent, despite the fact that season 11 winner Phillip Phillips had a massive hit with the song "Home," which also received prime placement during the 2012 Summer Olympics.

It could be the fact the song was a lemon, but we’re not so sure. Here’s the thing — we love Candice, but (you knew there was a but coming, right?) we still stick by our belief that Angie Miller’s music has more widespread appeal. Candice’s vocals are unparalleled but she hasn’t really shown us exactly what kind of artist she wants to be... yet.

Maybe -- maybe not. And wasn't Haley accused of the same thing?

Yeah-that was my first thought.Its another "enlightenned" comment from some writer who seems to want to stigmatize her for singing diffent styles so well.

Both of them played the AI game of tackling the different themes to show their abilities -- Haley, through her versatility; Candice, through taking on songs, not within her style, but putting her "Candice mark" on them. Candice gave a melodic line to a rap song by Drake, for pete's sake, and Drake claimed to like it!

No, Candice's coronation song had a message that was important to her, and so she went with that, but the song is just bleh... It's not at all surprising it's not doing well. She doesn't even have the opportunity to display what an extraordinary voice she has. Makes me a bit sad for her.

I don't know-I'd call the song more "meh" than "bleh" which I guess is just a little bit less harsh But the song is just too middle of the road pop for her.The album should be more R+B oriented.Looks like with all the cancelled tour dates she'll at least have more time to work on her album.

I, too, noticed that all of the cancelled tour dates seem to be right before her album to to come out, and wondered if there was a connection.

Just noticed I have a "Living Social" offer in my inbox for the American Idol Live! Tour. The show is July 27th. They are offering a ticket on the main floor that has a face value of $78 for $36. The offer was received 34 hours ago. The site says 74 have been purchased.
