Florence and the Machine, Delta Rae (although, they have a bit of a unique sound beyond rock) and Grace Potter.
Not only that, but Pink and Kelly are almost always on the pop rock side of things.
EDM certainly isn't the only thing out there, even for pop music.
I agree,
There are a lot popular bands w/ a female lead singers right now.
Of Monsters & Men, The Lumineers, The Mowgli's & Churchill all have a folk rock/indie type sound, & multiple singers at least 1 of which is female. Delta Rae (who btw have 4 singers/2 are female) kind of fits in w/ these bands.
Also, The Yeah Yeah Yeah's, Tegan & Sarah, Daughter, & The XX all have female lead singers.
Some female artists/bands that are in Haley's lane are Alabama Shakes, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, & ZZ Ward. I'd love to see Haley & the boys tour w/ any of these 3, either opening for Grace Potter or Alabama Shakes or on a double bill w/ ZZ.
Also, you're right, Merc, there's a lot of pop that isn't EDM. That was too much of a generalization on my part.
