I worked late and only arrived home in the last hour. I downloaded SMYM and began playing it.

I didn't have an immediate favorable reaction on the first play because I'm used to hearing Haley's voice without any production behind it. Around the 13th play, I found myself clapping along to the strong downbeats.

I don't know what they're playing in dance clubs today, but I imagine this could make the rotation.

I've very thankful Haley makes music that I can listen to repeatedly. Every so often I hear something about someone's new music and I listen for a bit and it just seems to drag on until I say, "I'm out."

Due to Haley's voice, and the fact she likes to mix it up, I never tire of her performances or music.

The CGI guy told me they were going to make it a night sky, since we were in the bright sun desert, I was curious how that would look



.... So I'm still anxious about how they're going to work the "Haliens" in, I have to admit, this is one HOT looking image, so not AS anxious as I was before, my stomach will be in knots 'til the video comes out.. BTW, Haley acknowledged the recent work Rachel's done

They can't help themselves , I think 3 weeks will be impossible to NOT share for many who received the download, I'd prefer Haley waited a little longer to release it if the 30th is a firm date, so as to somewhat limit the sharing and perhaps increase sales... but O well, it awakened Haley interest and that's what it's really all about, isn't it?

The planes were always going to be part of the scene. They looked around for debris to place around Haley's feet, Dannig scouted and posted a few shots from location before the shoot. You may be right, that this is merely 'promotional' still image, so it's possible the video itself might look different from what we expect. (maybe minus planes? something to look forward too )

Actually, my "Photoshopper's eye" can see spots where they could've done better at "unifying" the image, now that I'm home on my computer, but I give it a break because the overall impact, the vibe... it's more than served it's purpose as an add on to enhance the #SMYM mp3 release.

While it is not my preferred style I thought the song was a lot better after a few listens. It's catchy and contemporary. It definitely has that Kleiner touch to the production. For what it is it is well done, and I tweeted kudos to him.

I doubt it will stay off YouTube for long. It's out. Some of the bloggy type music sites will also put it up as soon as they can get it. It is the type of song that people tend to "remix" and I expect versions will appear quickly with a heavier beat.
