The Voice Season 6

Audra's performance was truly heartfelt and Christina showed her range last night.For my tastes and any criteria I might go by they were the standouts.

I thought so too, I also thought Delvin was a standout.

Love Bria. Love her voice. But in athletics, we call what she has been doing "choking." She seems like she just wasn't ready for this. Too bad, that audition was my all time favorite.

Just a little note, Christina Grimmie's EP with Haley's song on it, has reached #63 on the pop album charts on itunes.

Haley should be getting a little bit of a check for that.

Lot's of drama this season. I started out loving a lot of contestants, but lost the all early. (Hate it when that happens..) But Josh and Christina are quite good. (Although I really wish she'd stop belting.) And it was a good finale.

I will say, Jena's version of "I can't Help Falling In Love With You" was superior to Christina's. By a mile.

Actually -I didn't think it was a particularly good song choice for either of them but I thought that Jena's was a mess-its OK to take some liberities with a melody but this was all over the place with too many poor note choices.By the end it was pretty much-huhhh?

I was bummed that Christina was bumped at #3 but many of the great ones get bumped at #3. (Haley) The majority of people that vote on these shows love their boys and it's an uphill battle for most of the girls. I never was able to develop an interest in supporting Jena but I did latch on to hoping Christina would win.

Yea..it concerns me a bit that all Blake has to do is have a likable country artist and they pretty much sail to the finale. I didn't quite believe that argument from people after the Danielle win, because even though I don't think she's nearly as good as Michelle (and She shouldn't be..the difference in experience is astounding) she was an incredibly talented young girl, who sang well every week despite being the front runner. (Let's ask Bria Kelly and Matt Schuler how tough that one is.) And she was up against people like Michelle - who had played lollapalooza (I wonder if Michelle and Haley are the only two singing competition singers to get to play there?) before she went on The Voice, or Judith Hill..who sang on tour with Michael Jackson..or Sasha Allen..who had been a backup vocalist for Usher (among others) in the past...so for Danielle to do as well as she did and be as talented (and adorable) as she was..she earned her spot in the finale and getting the win.

But Jake? The guy was sweet, adorable, and a class act. But that would have been equivalent to a cuter Dexter winning Idol. And showed the wrath of the Blake fans.

For me, Christina is absolutely incredible when she restrains herself. Her performance with Ed Sheeran might have been the performance of the season. (Although, I'm still gonna vote for that Adam/Usher duet..) It's when she belts..and Adam encouraged it..that it's almost painful.

I was really hoping she'd do Haley's "Free" this season. With her head voice, it would have been a beautiful performance.

Josh and Usher deserved to win. I've heard so many positive things about him as a coach, how much effort and extra time he puts in..and that he continues to work with his top 3 after the show..it's good to see him win. And Josh was consistent and fantastic the whole season. He was so adorable when he was talking about his family too.

This was actually the first year that I watched a lot of this show and overall I was impressed.No doubt that Josh is a force but I thought that Christina would prevail,especially considering the large presence she had on You Tube going in.But who ever really knows considering that Jake actually made the top three.

I agree that Christina needs to learn more about restraint but I think she has lots of potential and I feel a real soul in there and a high degree of musicality and a distinctive enough sound for her to hopefully find a place for herself in the crazy world of the music business.
