Visited Central Park for the first time while in NY to attend my Niece's performance with her High School at Carnegie Hall.
Of course I had to visit the "Strawberry Fields" part of the park, placed across from the hotel where John Lennon was assassinated. There was a plaque with a list of countries who contributed to this part of the park's restoration...
and some tiling on the ground with the word "Imagine" and some flowers arranged into a peace symbol
This area had a good number of tourists along with assorted street musicians with their tip cups (ironically singing McCartney songs, like "Let it Be"

)
