John, I don't want to discount your preference (and Freddy was extraordinary), but Adam has vocal chops that go beyond ---- and he does it effortlessly (as I've mentioned).

I always really liked Freddy's voice, although I didn't care of a lot of Queen's material. I don't question Adam's chops or musicianship and this is a perfect gig for him. And quite an honor.
Nonetheless, forced or not, I will always associate a song such as
Somebody to Love with Freddy Mercury's voice and his emotional connection to them. I don't intend to disparage Lambert by calling him "reasonable" since I don't know who else would be.
