I think there's quality music to be found in every genre. Even rap, pop and country. Tongue (Just like crappy music can be found there too.)

But I was just saying, when you ask music critics what is quality music..they'll often skew towards rock. (Predominantly white male) and skew away from genres where women and minorities are better represented.

And yea, I didn't even get into classical. They actually did an experiment with auditions for some scary results were found. When women auditioned typically, they were accepted about 5% of the time, when the auditions were blind, it was more like 74% of the time.

But it's the same old same old..women have to be twice as good to get half the respect.
