Sound is uneven, but has some cool highlights.

They've definitely spent some time rearranging some things.I Loved this arrangement and its great to see these guys stretch out and play.Too bad that the sound of the bass got lost sometimes.But otherwise just super.

I've had my thoughts about this and it being a 'reality' for performers in a 21st century of digital technology and Youtube. It's true w/ Haley and perhaps something that was re enforced in her time w/ PMJ.... You have to change up your live performances to make it fresh for each audience...

We've been following Haley for some time now, and know she enjoys delivering different performances of songs....the reality of being an entertainer today is that moving iTunes is a dwindling revenue source, especially for independent artists, so the answer is to be such a good performer that people will pay to see you perform live, you have to build that demand, and Haley has shown that she's best experienced LIVE

All good points.It seems like they're finding away to keep things fresh with the arrangements and at the same time leaving room for Haley to do her own thing each night because we know its never gonna be the same from night to night.And they look like they're having a great time.

And at the end, the crowd starts chanting her name. It was AWESOME!

The video's I have watched have been great, so thanks all! I am excited to see Haley later this month in Philly so I'm resisting most of them because I want the songs to sound as fresh as possible. I think "Black Hole Sun" is my new favorite cover, and the live version of "Talkin About" is really, really impressive. As others have noted, Haley's performance skills have really matured.

I am the odd one who generally prefers the produced version of songs over the live version (all artists, not just Haley) but I am really impressed with what I have seen. I also enjoy reading the show comments so thanks all for passing them along as my anticipation grows.

The Haliens sure have been rewarded with this tour - hopefully she will fill enough seats to cover costs and maybe at some point we will be surprised and the tour / album will be noticed by the mainstream media....it sure is tough with so much competition. Regardless, it is great that Haley seems to be enjoying every moment tremendously and giving it everything she has.

I don't know why it would need to be changed for each audience, since it is new to the new audience (aside from some Halien types), but it probably is important for the band to keep it fresh for themselves. I notice in the videos they look at each other a lot, often smiling after pulling off a new twist and having it go just right.

Lots of the changes that are made enhance the song in small ways -- I noticed a little percussion thing in the Phoenix My Cake that sounded like banging on a wood block. A brief and small change that enhances the song a little. With a group of talented and creative musicians like Haley has with her "perfect band" it makes sense that it gets better as they perform it more and experiment with new twists. It's really exciting that Haley managed to pull together such a good group. She is obviously having a blast so far on this tour. Very cool.

Everyone has the path they must chose for themselves, the more difficult one is deciding whether you have the commitment to take the sacrifices to find yourself or not? There were PLENTY of people who doubted Haley's decisions, but her determination to make her own path is finally coming to fruition, the path took longer, but the destination is worth it ..that's the thing, you only learn from doing and making mistakes, as long as you sustain your focus and not get distracted.

Personally, I have strived to keep a balanced perspective toward Haley and her career over these past five years. Performing talent aside, she had a lot to learn about the music and entertainment business. A show like AI can bring fame that is well ahead of one's experience and the learning curves are going to rear their heads again and again until that experience is earned. Despite not being on the stage much for a couple years Haley had the opportunity via ole to write songs and build a catalogue of material. I always kept that in mind and we are hearing some of that now.

I was perceived as critical at times along the way, although I don't really see it that way. I suggested that Haley too often waited for things to come to her. Apparently this being a manifestation of the que sera sera philosophy. Of course, if one is as enormously gifted as Haley, odds are that good things will eventually come. And for her, they have, which probably validates that strategy in the minds of some. But I wouldn't recommend that approach to most people, unless they are content with scraps. Yet because there have not been clear roadmaps to help one navigate the changing landscape of the music business, for Haley it has probably been a good time to proceed with caution and let things unfold.

A recurring theme on YT comments is something like "Why isn't this girl more famous?" I think part of it is simple -- she wasn't visible for a couple years. Once Haley had the good fortune to get exposure and experience with PMJ, she was off to the races. And here she is. Now, as her choices continue to increase, whatever will be, will be more a product of active decisions rather than random opportunities. To me that represents Haley coming into her own. Faire son choix, sera sera.

John, I'm probably the one most perceived to be critical on this site (although for different reasons). However, do remember that during those couple of years when it seemed that Haley wasn't as "visible" as many wished she was, she was also still under her original contract and we don't know what conditions (restrictions??) were in that agreement. Much to Haley's credit, she seems not to have publicly voiced any criticism of InterScope although many others (in similar circumstances) have.

I am reminded of a YouTube video I came across of Lake Street Dive (LSD), when I was first "diving" into any and all things LSD. The video was recorded during a live session the group made at KEXP, a radio station in Seattle that specializes in bringing new groups, artists, into the public eye, and (the video) was recorded just a month or two (or so) prior to the release of their Bad Self Portraits album. In between the group's performances, the moderator would ask questions. One of the first questions was why it had taken so long to release another record. Bridgette, the bass player, responded that "to put it in vague terms, someone was holding Rachael's voice hostage, and we needed to rescue her." I recently learned that Rachael actually bought out of a contract that she was under, or, perhaps, she and her fellow bandmates pooled their resources to buy it out. I suspect that the owner of that contract was the "someone holding her voice hostage." So, I repeat, we don't know how confined Haley may have been.

What we can see, is that, in addition to using the time and ole connection to write, she also familiarized herself with the business side of it. By the time the InterScope contract ended, she was much more prepared to proceed, and some stars also lined up, so that since the Fall of 2014 many good things have happened. I'm truly happy for Haley that things are going so well for her.
