I saw someone else reference them doing a "gig," but there's nothing in their tweets to indicate they did. It might have been an assumption someone made because they had performed at the same tree lighting in LA the night before. My assumption is they went to New York for more mundane business matters.

My hearing isn't the best, I originally thought she said "I've gotta go get something." Still not convinced she actually had a gig. Pia had tweeted they were going out for sushi and Haley was wearing the same outfit she was then and later in the picture with Pia's friend in it. The gig might have been dinner.

I hear her say "gig" but I agree that she probably meant it in a more general way. If she were going to sing she would have been wearing bigger rings

I agree it's "gig." But I didn't hear that on first listen. So at the time I thought it was very odd how she ran off.
