I also watched Kris Allen in an interview a while back before he gave a benefit concert later that same day somewhere in Arkansas being asked by one of the audience members if it were true that Haley Reinhart had recorded one of the songs he had written. His answer was that he didn't know, but it would be nice if it were true and that he is often the last to find out about such happenings.

At the time Michael Slezak worked for Entertainment Weekly and this was referred to as his "Idolatry interview."

I was not very familiar with Kris. After watching this interview, my impression is he is a good-looking man, a genuinely nice guy and an "artist." But his voice doesn't do much for me and I think his name should be spelled "Chris," not "Kris."
