I’m SO happy for Haley. We were best friends in the 1st grade and then we played softball together in high school. As long as I’ve known her, she’s always had this drive to sing whenever and whatever. I hope Idol helps her keep improving and I would really like to see her have success in any way shape or form. Way to go Haley! =]

I just noticed that at the start of her "sing for her life" performance, Haley grips the microphone like a baseball bat and makes a motion like a slugger at the plate.

In an IF post the other day, Himm2 said the White Sox had contacted her. So it's likely she'll sing the National Anthem before one of their games at some point.
