Good to see a Haley thread over at http://www.performanceboats.com/pb-open-...music.html

And that was a nice, succinct post Miguel.

RE: PerformanceBoats.com
I'd like to think that post was responsible for this tweet several hours later:

About a month ago I came across another non-Idol forum with a Haley thread. In it, some blowhard had been badmouthing her talent and personalty. I presented an opposing viewpoint and posted the then-new BICO video.

Over the past few months, I've also made such counterarguments in the comment sections of videos and long-forgotten articles.

Why?

Marketing.

Quote:Diffusion is the process by which a new idea or new product is accepted by the market. The rate of diffusion is the speed that the new idea spreads from one consumer to the next.

...The most difficult step is making the transition between visionaries (early adopters) and pragmatists (early majority).

...Technologies or products that cannot cross this chasm will die or remain niche. If successful, a firm can create a bandwagon effect in which the momentum builds and the product becomes ubiquitous.

When it comes to Haley, I see myself as an early adopter. Once she begins releasing new music, more people will be exposed to her and some will seek out more information on her. I want them to find the praise from other artists and not simply the disparaging words left by fans of other Idols, Adele or Gaga.

In other words, I've been trying to lay the groundwork for wider acceptance.

Now it's up to Haley to release some kick-ass music that speaks for itself.

She will release Kick- Ass music and it will take some time, but when people see the quality and style of Miss Reinhart, she will be sent to the top.

Miguel, another excellent post...well done! I'm trying to figure out this reputation rating thing. I don't know why you're not a 10? On second thought, that rating is owned by Haley Cool...you can still be a 9 though
