“I am proud of my son for staying in school. 'American Idol,' to me, is not very important,” Meredith Dangerfield said. “We always knew that his voice was good enough that he could make it to Hollywood, and that’s what scared us because we really wanted him to complete his education first.”

I like his original stuff much better. In fact, I'd buy it if it was on itunes.

I thought his cover of RITD was better than David Cook's and the Grenade cover was decent but not great, but I really like his original stuff much better.

Anyway, I will be very surprised if he doesn't make the live show this year, as that dude is pretty talented.
