I always thought that Daryl should re-release this song--this version and arrangement---and dedicate it to all the families that are "waiting "

for loved ones to return from war. ....and possibly donate some of the proceeds to the families that have lost loved ones fighting for our country.....I can definitely see this song made into a video as seen through the thoughts and eyes of a soldier as if he/she were singing it...just a thought because it is such a moving song.

^^Nice selection, Tusk. Funny, I always think of Linda Ronstadt when I think of "Ooh, Baby, Baby." She's got the perfect voice for the changes between head/chest voice for this song.

RE: Music Videos
^^ Loved her cover of the song, Linda was one of the first female artists I was aware of in AZ.... along with Crystal Gayle were two amazingly strikingly beautiful singers of the time.

Since we're on the subject of strikingly beautiful country singers

Guilty Pleasure to the point I don't even recognise them as "Country"... Natalie Maines voice is truly unique. Underated for their musicianship, I wish I could have heard them live

Here's a song that I still love. It took me years to realize that the gorgeous (lush) arrangement hid a rather sad message, but still...

A prolific pair in the 70's, england Dan and John Ford Coley

Paul Davis seemed ubiquitous on '70's radio stations...
