"Listen Up!" - Debut Week Sales (Total)
Listen Up! has faded a bit on iTunes:
Current positions are #9 (dlx) and #32 (std).
Comments from HITS Daily Double:
Quote:19/Interscope Idol contestant Haley Reinhart emerges with her well-received debut, Listen Up!, which is on target for 15-20k.
Eighth season Idol winner Kris Allen’s 19/RCA sophomore album, Thank You Camellia, is looking at 15-20k as well after his debut scored 80k out of the box in Nov. ‘09. It’s interesting to note, the contestant he defeated, Adam Lambert, entered at #1 last week with his second album, Trespassing, generating sales of 77k.
Album sales were down 9% vs. last week, down 6% vs. same week last year and down 1.5% year to date.

Those numbers come in lower than I had expected.

Online, the Deluxe version of Haley's album was stalking TYC (right behind it). The Standard version was pretty high as well yesterday at one point. Together they might have surpassed it.
I'm going to take a break and go by Best Buy and Wal-Mart and see how many copies of Listen Up! they have available.

Depressing news to me. Is that site always accurate with their predictions? I am hoping that "Undone" and "oh my", with their surging popularity will boost her sales soon.

Yeah, they're usually accurate. Sometimes they revise upward or downward the next day, but yeah, depressing is the right word.
Worse still, her biggest promo is behind her. Moving forward, the new Idols will be signed to 19/Interscope and releasing singles, albums, getting promo, etc., and Haley has no summer tour to pump up sales. Lalla is the only significant event until a still yet to be determined fall tour.
Let's hope she miraculously outsells the history that comes with that debut number. If it holds true to form, she might be looking for a new label by this time next year.

Oh boo hoo. Haley didn't sell like an established artist.
Let's wallow about it instead of supporting her and being positive!

@LegallyR..., it is what it is, so obviously some folks are dissappointed because we are all such fans of hers..... Hell, she gets more support here than probably anywhere outside of her home! What I'm hoping is that her management will keep getting her some gigs.. The late night TV shows, maybe appearances on other TV shows, some more ballpark Natl Anthems, anywhere that she's on camera is a winner for our gal.. another video wouldn't be a bad thing either. Maybe a few strategic "cameo's" on the Idol Summer Tour too! Whatever.. I firmly believe that she'll become mega-established and not in the too distant future!
I'm actually thinking that although kind of off the main path of her album, the ballad UNDONE, is going to blowup huge
