Hit the Ground Runnin' reference?

Last night the Midnight Band played a cover of Haley's "Hit The Ground Runnin'" in the second set after Babbs left, and Patti told me they were going to play "Spiderman" like they did on Halloween in the third set but it was midnight (the time not the band) and I left before they started because here I am at 6:30 in the morning getting ready for an appointment. A year ago at Viper Alley they sang "Baby It's Cold Outside":

They always "wing" Haley's covers and it's always a special treat.
