Haley at a Bar
So I went to a bar in Phoenix last night. A gay bar, actually. They had one of those touchtone music thingys, and as soon as I saw it I ran over to check and lo and behold, there was the entire Listen Up album.
So of course I had to play the whole thing. Well, except Undone. I didn't want people slitting their throats over their beers.
Anyway, it went over really well. Not like I went and talked to a million people about it, but the guy I was talking to said, "It sounds like Adele... I like this kind of stuff a lot." He was bopping his head to it for the next 30 minutes. And a lot of people seemed to dig it.
Anyway, I only mention it because you know how it is: first the gays like it... then the teens. Then the rest of the world catches on. I think that's how it works, anyway. :-)
