That's why I'm usually very conscientious that I 'hit and run' with my exchanges with Haley. I know there are others who want to have their time with Haley too, so I try to be brief with Haley so she can spend more time with others....
It's all about perspective/enthusiasm... Video is what she does, she probably has the $$ equipment to go along with, she might be equally annoyed if someone was talking over loud while she's trying to record. At CityWalk, I was surrounded by people not paying attention to the show, talking about their day, their job, their wife... and I'm thinking "Geez shut up and enjoy the show" as I'm recording
Being 'physically' pushy though, is not cool
Anyway, shouldn't dampen an otherwise Great day for all Haliens and we thank you for bringing so much of it to us. #GreatlyAppreciated
LOL but it's not like I was talking to Haley and hogging her! It was in the middle of them performing on the street! A big group of people formed around them to watch. She literally barged in and pushed me for my spot. I'm too nice to say anything so I just backed off for awhile til she wanted to move. Lol

I've been at shows with you Rachel, You are more than respectful, have never been rude that I've seen. I was just saying everyone tries to get 'their time' and are sometimes over enthusiastic, so that colours their perception of the situation who was rude/disrespectful. I do agree that pushing people around is crossing the line....
Sigh... well hopefully she has some great Haley videos to 'make up' for it

While not meaning to sound like an apologist for Monica's behavior (which I'm most certainly not), there is much we don't know. Given the video of Maleah that Tusk found and uploaded and Monica's comment, it's obvious that's she's working with Casey in some form and, perhaps, now Haley's a part of that.
For example, she may have made some verbal commitment to them to help their careers with her photography and videos, while simultaneously trying to develop her own. However, her behavior last night will certainly color Rachel's and Yanni's perceptions (and subsequently, other haleyfans) for a while.
On the other hand, maybe she's just always rude.

Yeah, I chose that video in particular of hers, because it wasn't just a 'fan vid' from the crowd. That she must actually be working with Casey in some way or other, he certainly must know her. Her vids do show that she has a more fine tuned presentation than most 'fan videos' so....
Either way, for as rabid as we may appear Online, I have yet to meet a rude Halien... (not counting the woman screetching in Himm2's and Tim's ears to "SIT DOWN" while they were filming "Can't Find My Way Home" at BGDays
.... it's to be determined if she was a Halien ) I didn't meet her, but I certainly heard her in the audios (Thank God for Peter Spero's audio to save the day 
)I think part of why Haley continues to have great interaction with her fans is that we are actually a pretty well behaved lot

A bit of perspective: the screeching woman: a) probably didn't know that these vids were being made for a "greater cause;" b.) may not have cared had she been aware; and c.) had her view blocked, so from her perspective, someone(s) was (were) rude.
One of many reasons that I only go to symphonic concerts, when I attend anything, is because of the expected knowledge and civility of the audience (stupid standing ovations aside). Lake Street Dive is going to do a Woodland Park Zoo show this summer. You are probably aware that I think this group is more than the "cat's meow." But as much as I want to hear them live, I'm truly struggling whether to go to this performance, and a big part of that struggle is audiences that don't know how to behave correctly.

Hope YOU were able to enjoy the music too. Our videographers sometimes suffer in that you lose some of the impact (is that the right word) of the music, trying to bring pics and vids to us fans. We really appreciate it though.

Babbs I was also up till about 4am watching Rachel's twitter feed & talking some to Tusk. It's been really crazy for me lately & I needed to get sleep. Told myself that I can wait till the next day or so and watch everything--but I couldn't help myself. Paying for it today--big time
Anyway--these videos are freaking fantastic. I love Caley so much.
All day long I've been singing SMYM to myself. Can't get that line out of my head.

The lady in the front, stage left, with the Hat. I noticed her in the background in Monika's HTRJ video and noticed she had an uncanny resemblance, at least in style, to ZZ Ward.... Rachel just confirmed that she indeed was sitting at the front reserved VIP table (Rachel got there early, tweeted that the front tables were already taken....)
I have no idea if ZZ was touring, and not in the LA area, still....
