Haley is featured on 4 of the top 5 PMJ songs (the other being AABT - Kate Davis). Things have quieted down a lot on the itunes front since the release of AABT and Creep following the European tour. Those songs clearly lifted the sales of many PMJ songs on itunes and brought more subscribers and overall interest to PMJ, and Haley's work continues to be dominant. The four or five percent nay sayer's may be vociferious but they don't rule, Haley does. I always injoy checking in on you Haliens, you do good work. InItToWinIt: ![]() At the moment, under top Jazz songs, iTunes shows: 7) Creep 9) All About That Bass (Euro) 19) Lovefool 21) AATB (Kate Davis) 35) Habits 46) Bad Romance (Ariana Savalas) 61) No Diggity (Ariana Savalas) 68) Creep (album version) 78) Blvd of Broken Dreams (Maiya Sykes) 84) Take Me to Church (Morgan James) 96) Radioactive (Blake Lewis) 108) Gangster's Paradise (Robyn Anderson) 118) Shake It Off (Von Smith) 130) Rude (Von Smith) 131) I Want It That Way (Shoshana Bean) 132) Stacy's Mom (Casey Abrams) 133) AATB (Euro album version) 134) I Believe in a Thing Called Love (Maiya Sykes) 149) Say Something (Hudson Thames) 150) Maps (Morgan James) 151) Blank Space (Ariana Savalas) 159) We Can't Stop 164) Careless Whisper (feat. Dave Koz) 187) Style (Annie Goodchild and Von Smith) 189) Titanium (Von Smith) 190) Straight Up (Ashley Stroud) No "Oops." A search for "Oops! I Did It Again!" shows it listed as 6th for that title behind four Britney Spears recordings and one from the cast of Glee (5th). Current listing of bestsellers for PMJ: 1) Creep 2) AATB (Kate Davis) 3) AATB (Euro) 4) Oops! I Did It Again 5) We Can't Stop 6) Lovefool 7) Habits 8) No Diggity 9) Rude 10) Fancy Hmm... It appears "Oops...I Did It Again" is not listed in the top iTunes jazz songs. Too fresh to be counted? RE: Postmodern Jukebox - john - 07-11-2015 Oops! is listed in the Singer/Songwriter category for some reason. It is currently listed as #39. I think those "popularity" bars on itunes are based on an algorithm that goes beyond straight sales. PMJ East? fsdsdds - airhigh - 07-16-2015 Note from Miguel: I moved this post and a couple of responses from the "Happy for Haley" thread to here. Reading the comments about PMJ's "I Kissed a Girl" I noticed there was very little flack about the way Robyn Adele & the Tee Tones performed it. At times it is daunting for Haliens because there seems to be a gaggle of nay sayers, starting with Idol, that live to disparage Haley. Why is this in Happy For Haley? Because Haley owns PMJ and I'll bet Scott is taking notice. Creep, All About the Bass, Oop's, LoveFool, & Habits; in that order are five of the top seven selling singles for PMJ on iTunes. That's amazing since Haley is somewhat of a Newbe with that group. I think we can be assured that Haley can tour with them as often as she wishes & that is happiness for all of us. There are also a lot of the legacy pmj fans that view and comment on the first day. Quote:Too me it's only Post Modern Jukebox if Robyn is singing. ExcellentFrankly, I found the video kind of bland. A rather generic PMJ arrangement and performance by Robyn. Haley does shine bright with PMJ and I think she draws a much wider group of early viewers now. The IKAG video has been out more that six hours and has 3912 Likes, Oops! had 5924 Likes after four hours. I see Scott in and out of view as the singer next to Robyn moves his right arm. |
