LOL Bluesman - Different clips... no harm no foul Yours is a better fit for this thread than Buzz's because it's mainly just the song. As Buzz said, "Good Find". Just another movie I want to see, and I like the song.

Yes, nice find Midnight. I was listening to a bunch of Karla Bonoff songs a couple months ago but never posted any. Lots of memories from the late 70s listening to Karla's first album (and Linda too).

John, nice to have you back when you can come up for air and join us!
And thank you for the Karla Bonoff tracks. How nice. So she wrote "Someone To Lay Down Beside Me" and did back up vocals for the lovely lady Ronstadt. Do you know if she tried getting "Someone..." recorded and released before Linda did?

Tip of the hat to a couple singer/songwriters who's songs were pervasive in the '70's
James Taylor
Carly Simon
Jackson Browne

Greetings MAE, just up for a couple gulps I'm afraid.
Not sure if she tried to get her songs recorded earlier. She was singing background vocals for Linda and got three of her songs on Linda's Hasten Down the Wind album. Karla included them on her debut album released a year or so later.
These two Bonoff songs were included on HDTW along with STLDBM.
The song doesn't start until 30 seconds in but quite nice.
