RE: Postmodern Jukebox - john - 08-22-2015
The numbers for the past 24 hours are very similar to yesterday's. By Monday SNA should exceed a million views, Oops 2 million, Creep 9 million, and AATB 7 million. In a few weeks we can celebrate Haley's first 10 million view YT video.

It looks like Sara Niemietz also recorded another song with PMJ yesterday.

I think Sara has personally thanked everyone who has given her a positive remark on the PMJ video. I see that she has done that on her 8 million view video of RITD and her other videos.

Following on the heels of Oops!, which reached 2 million views yesterday, Haley has had three of her PMJ videos hit milestones today: First Creep sailed past 9 million, then SNA hit a million, and finally AATB hit the 7 million mark (currently reads 7,000,002 views). Not a bad days work. What a change. As I tweeted earlier Haley's PMJ videos in total have received more than 24 million views on YT.
Beyond that she continues to get views on FB. Morgan retweeted a link to her April 23 posting of AATB. It currently has 31,899,317 Views and it has been shared 707,144 times. The video has 179,023 Likes. Her FB upload has almost caught up with Kai Kamai's, which has 32,247,810 views as well as 730,285 shares and over 200K Likes. While things have slowed way down Kai's video still gets shared numerous times through the day. And together the two uploads have more than 64 million views and 1.4 million shares.
Quote: I just love this version too. I love jazzy blues style, and the bassist with the pony on top, Casey Abrams is amazing. So is the middle singer, Haley Reinhart. Have to look and see if there is music out by the group "Post Modern Jukebox". Love this.

apparently Scott is going to use this as a way to find 'undiscovered' PMJ singers... He's opened it up for people to submit to audition to be in one of PMJ's videos

Announcement time!!!
Dear Singers of the Internet, Here's your chance to become part of the Postmodern Jukebox universe... "So You Think You Can Sing?" is the first official collection of PMJ karaoke tracks, but it's more than that. I know that there are TONS of amazing vocalists and future PMJ stars all over the world, and I want to find them. So, from now until the end of September, I'll be searching the #PMJsearch hashtag for one talented singer to make their Postmodern Jukebox video debut. Here's how to take part: 1) Pick a song from "So You Think You Can Sing?" (available on iTunes, Google Play, & Amazon) and record a video of yourself singing. Be sure to dress the part. 2) Post the full video to your Facebook page using the hashtag #PMJsearch, and tag @postmodernjukebox. Not on Facebook? Then just post it to YouTube and send us the link. 3) That's it! I just included a third step because it looked better. "So, You Think You Can Sing?” This could be your Golden Ticket.
