Were there other photographers there, or were you guys the main ones for Morgan? Lucky dogs with the Press passes too.

They were very strict with their photo policy, they have the right to confiscate and keep your camera or files, I didn't really see anyone videoing, maybe a bit w/ their phone camera.
When we got our passes they made sure to remind us that it was for Morgan only, Greg's told me often with photo passes, they usually allow you a limit where you can work, like two songs, we were fortunate to be there for her whole set.
Didn't really see anyone else with anything more than a phone camera, probably because of their policy. Greg's cameras certainly drew attention and people were in a generally good mood so there was alot of conversations with the people in our area. It was a long afternoon, especially that we got there relatively early (it helped we got to park near the stage), so we got acquainted with security and attendees. They had alot of questions about the cameras so Greg got the opportunity to converse with people at spots he would take pictures, so that they knew what he would be doing so wouldn't get annoyed at his presence during the show.
We also got to talk about Morgan, tell people about her, how we know Morgan. It was really kind of cool while I was filming to see the people we talked to about Morgan start digging her music, shaking their head, eyes closed, applauding in appreciation when she dug that extra bit for some soul, hit those power notes.
We of course also talked about Haley, more people 'heard of that name' than Morgan's, also about my Youtube channel with a bunch of Haley's videos.. there was nothing that wasn't perfect about that day
I didn't realise how much Morgan was performing to our cameras until I had a chance to watch my videos, afterwards. Greg said he knew right away, because through his powerful lenses he could see her look directly into the cameras.
(Afterwards, when we were done with Morgan's set, so sat in our seats to enjoy the other performers, one of the guys we talked to before the show also told me he told his wife, pointed out that Morgan was performing for our cameras
)I doubt an opportunity like that will come around again, but I think Greg's pictures made an impression, and I didn't blow it w/ the video
. I don't know enough about controlling the kind of audio my camera gets to be sure if the audio will work out. My best camera when it comes to audio quality is easily my cam corder...'next time' I may bring the camcorder and use it for it's audio, while I use my DSLR for the video.(DSLR would be on the monopod leaving my other hand free to operate the small cam corder)
