I really like it, too, and the video is hilarious (not to speak of excellent acting - how can Morgan remain so stiff when she gets tilted and carried away at the end, and all in the same take!? She's perfect in her role, imo.).

The problem with TMTC is that the original is also pretty good, not just Morgan's version (nice problem to have).

Yea, I don't love Morgan's version of TMTC. I think it's one of the best songs of the past...I don't know how many years, so I'm quite picky. There's so much too it. I love Morgan's voice, but I'm not sure she captured the soul of the song.

I also have a huge problem with pronoun or lyric changes in general (It's stupid. Glad Haley doesn't do it.) But especially in songs like this, or "Back to Black" where you actually change fundamental aspects of the song when you change the words. (The "her" in the song is not only a reference to his lover, but also to Goddess of Love/Venus)

It's not really a criticism of Morgan though, I'd put a high bar on anyone who covered TMTC. (Jacquie Lee's cover bothers me for similar reasons.)
