I've watched that Ann Mari Calhoon / Vervinyan video more than a few times.. so much fun ... crazy the dexterity they have and fun they have with the interplay (music is a bit vegas but.. hey, its a vegas show meant to be approachable for a wide audienc)
I fell in love with Anne Marie seeing her play "Ripple" (the Grateful Dead song) ... well.. ripple isn't "fine music" but I suppose if it's played on a violin and we call it "folk" music we could squeeze it into this thread. Ripple is one of those songs that I connect to the same way I talked about the others above.
I hope haley has a chance to meet Ann Marie some where in their travels because I think they might like each other as people and maybe find something interesting to do musically together in the future.
Ann Marie had a chance to play at a concert with rock group Widespread Panic after they saw her cover of one of their songs on youtube.

^ Sweet! Often sounds like two violins. Great place to post this. And ahhhhhh... a collaboration with her and Haley... totally agree... wouldn't that be awesome!

This next video may not belong in this thread (technically speaking) but I'm going to stretch the "and such" to squeeze it in. Come on! Richie Blackmore and his beautiful wife Candice Night covering Ralph McTell's very beautiful, "Streets of London"? If that isn't "and such" for this fine music thread I don't know what is.
Blackmore's Night - Streets of London

And this one is going in this thread because my car was stolen today and me and my Red Solo cup are having a Daiquiri party tonight, which is a mighty fine way to forget about the bad timing for me of the auto theft, not to mention how fine Toby Kieth is.

Yes, seriously. But I don't think I pissed anyone off. Life has been too good the past few years and I guess that's not allowed. And no on the insurance coverage, just liability; but with a rental car rider, so hopefully my car will be found before I end up in jail for beating some bus-thug to death with my crutches.
And the laptop incident ended up being a blessing. I didn't know how slow my computer was until I got a new one. I went from a Pentium 4 with only 256MB of RAM, a 60GB hard drive and a 15" screen to a Quad Core with 12GB of RAM, a 750GB HD and a 17" screen. OMG, the difference is unbelievable. I use my computer as my main source of entertainment because it's affordable to do so, so the cost of a new one just came out of that budget, which was no biggie until the car dissapeared.
But that's enough about me. I'll be OK. Thank you for showing concern and for asking.
