Haley will be playing the Highline Ballroom in NYC on Nov. 9th.
Quote:The Highline Ballroom is a 700-capacity standing, 400-capacity fully seated venue located in the heart of Chelsea. Long known as the artistic heart of New York replete with its artist lofts, gallery spaces and charm, the Chelsea neighborhood was the perfect location choice for the space. Nestled beneath the High Line, a 1.45-mile-long elevated public space complete with landscaping and viewing outposts that runs through the West Side neighborhoods, the Ballroom boasts a state-of-the art sound and light system, a balcony, seated wings and a variety of floor setups. The venue’s pristine production quality allows for superstar stadium acts to play a more intimate show for their fans without compromising the level of sound or performance. Marquee artists from Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Carlos Santana to Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Amy Winehouse have all been swayed by the unique ambiance of the Highline Ballroom.

I posted this video in my "Music Themed Movies" thread on here, but no one replied to it. So here I go again.
This is my most wanted question for Haley to answer... Do you like the Sister Act movies?
I'm embarrassed by the number of times I've "subtly" tweeted her about them. But can you blame me when I just want to see if she shares a similar love for two decent music-based films?
ANYWAY. This song is tied with "Hopelessly Devoted to You" for my #1 song I want Haley to cover. Maybe someday?

KelseyW, not a lot of people posting lately so I don't know if you're going to get much response. Every now and then Haley has Q&A sessions with fans -- be on the look out for them - probably your best opportunity to straight up ask you question.

Yeah. Idolforums is pretty dead for example. This place at least has a pulse.
Thank you! I almost always seem to miss the Q&A's, but I'll try to participate in the next one. It's really the only question I have.

In writing GOMM John Hartford apparently lifted some of the melody of the song O Mar by Brazilian composer Dorival Caymmi. This recording is from 1954 -- the GOMM melody can be heard starting @ 1:20
