Halien Headquarters now 18 holes of minigolf - Himm2 - 07-21-2014

How I spent my summer vacation by Himm2:



I expanded and resurfaced Halien Headquarters where we had the shindig last summer mainly because the green outdoor carpet I used turned blue in the sunlight and it had many seams that 12' wide rolls of minigolf style astroturf solved. It was a lot of work expanding in the other direction of the hot tub screened porch under the swing and improving the LED light towers. I also converted my son's fabric shed that he no longer could use now that he's in a 3rd floor apartment in Colorado, into Home Plate Club with 5 seats and a fan for watching the games (and Haley/Casey performances) on my mini jumbotron screen. Yes I was able to replace the TV that died the morning of the Shindig much to the relief of those who didn't want to sing Karaoke to the lyrics on the screen. If you recall the black screen was useful however for Haley & Angie to check their reflection before the band photos were taken.
