Ignore List - Miguel - 03-10-2012 If you find there is a user whose posts are typically of little merit or a distraction from the topic being discussed, you can choose to ignore their posts. Once you do this, their posts will not be visible to you. How to "ignore" someone 1) Click on their username to pull up their profile 2) Look at the bottom right of their profile for text that reads, "Add to Ignore List" 3) Click on that text link. You're done. If you subsequently decide you want to remove them from your Ignore List, go to "Edit Ignore List" and click on their name. That will take you to their profile where you can click on "Remove from Ignore List." Specific directions below. How to remove someone from your Ignore List: 1) Go to your user control panel (User CP) 2) Look under the left-hand column for the "Miscellaneous" header. 3) Choose Buddy/Ignore list 4) Go to "Edit Ignore List" 5) Click on the user's name in the list. This will take you to their profile. 6) Click the text link that says, "Remove from Ignore List." |
