I went to see Morgan near my home town this weekend.  She's been touring for a few months now.  During that time, she got Covid, had to cancel several shows, and in Everett, Fed Ex didn't deliver her merch in time for either shows she had in the NW (They were closed for her Portland show on Sunday, so she couldn't even drive to pick up her merch to sell at her shows.). She's in CA today, That's two shows she lost out on selling her tour Merch....  She felt so bad that she took all the VIPs addresses to send them the posters they were supposed to get, so more money going out.

Is it really hard to understand that someone who was days away from touring, had to cancel both tours including one to Europe, not to mention merch commitments and storage that she probably had to compensate for, is waiting until things normalize more before she makes any commitments?

As far as putting any music out.  Maybe she wanted to use the tour to promote the EP, including all the merch related to it?  Maybe she's holding off on releasing the EP until she can tour to support it?  She had the 'Roll the Dice' hoodie to be bought, so it's reasonable to think she had other "Off the Ground" merch in the wings to sell on the tour?

Sometimes there's nothing you can do due to circumstances, and this pandemic (and war) has us in a very unpredictable time, a time an independent artist has to be mindful of the financial risks she has to consider?

I'm fairly certain she feels worse about this than her fans do.

Look. I'm fine with her taking a break from touring. You're right in that the pandemic and now a war has people on edge and wanting to just be on alert for awhile.

What I'm trying to say (I've given up on making sense here. lol) is that she can do stuff like update her official site in the meantime. Write blogs, tweet nonsense/interact with fans online, IDK. SOMETHING.

If money is a problem she can update that VIP section of her site or start a Patreon fan club.

I'd gladly pay her $5 a month or even a tad more for a year or more just to get some insider music/Halien knowledge.

I'm not trying to be a jerk. I'm just really missing her online is all.

I know you and other fans are just as sad that she's been inactive online.

Now I know she still posts Instagram posts and stories, but...

You can still be ONLINE and not be promoting new music, an EP, or a tour?

I know she feels she has to be all on her own but there's only so much fans can do and when some fans aren't even messaging her on Twitter anymore...

I don't know. I'm ever patient, and while I've already been to an Idol alumni concert in December, and am looking forward to a concert from my fave band in July...

I know not all artists feel comfortable promoting themselves all the time. So it's ok.

Maybe I feel like I could do more to help? Besides making tweets and replies asking where my faves are....

I'm out of ideas personally. But gotta press on!
