She comes from acting, so has grown up in that environment.  She does sound like she has musical aspirations, which it'd be interesting if she reached out to Haley for some advice.  It's a new era and young people have become adept at the technology they grew up, the ability to promote your brand in any endeavour you want, acting, music, cosmetics, anything is possible if you're focused enough.

I think that's what some fans miss when they insist the only way for Haley is to sign w/ a big music label....  We have now seen so many young people make millions and in full control of their brand through marketing themselves in social media with the technology available to them.  Haley knows the tools are out there for her to reach her goals w/o the *ball & chain* of being beholden to a label, put out music she doesn't want to, put out music because she's been 'contracted' to put out x number of albums w/in x years, even if she doesn't think the music is ready.  If these young folks can do it on their own, so can Haley...
