Drinks named for Idols
(08-18-2012, 08:36 PM)Tusk Wrote: Luckily, I've got a confirmed 'Jazz Head' accompanying me, Haleyholic, aka Trish.... One of the TVLine additions to Halien Nation. I'm sure she will fill me in on what I might be clueless about. We've been 'talking this up' from before it was confirmed. The Only thing we have planned for sure is she'll buy the first round of 'Reinharts' before the show. A Reinhart, I believe, is something like Scotch with a sprinkle of Cinnamon. (Or bourbon, I forget, but she remembers)
LOL I can't believe I found the link we got what a "Reinhart" was (someone found it at IDF way back in November )
It's a site where you can type in a name and it makes a drink...Haley's is still the same, so I'm not sure it's random....

Quote:Don’t listen to Haley Reinhart alone. We suggest…
“The Haley Reinhart”
4 oz. Macallan Scotch
Serve neat. Garnish with cinnamon.
Type in Casey's name and you get..
Quote:“The Casey Abrams”
12 oz. Home brew
12 oz. Coconut milk
So, curious I tried another.....
Quote:“The Stefano Langone”
8 oz. Baijiu
8 oz. Grenadine
8 oz. Rose's lime juice
Combine in highball glass and serve. Garnish with pickled carrot sticks.
WTF is Baijiu?
According to the Urban Dictionary:
Quote:Pure distilled evil in liquid form. Chinese firewater that could be used to put a man on a moon of a planet in a far of galaxy. It tastes like a combination of the fires of hell, rotten Indian food and the after effect of China Syndrome. Can be drunk or snorted through the nose, even though neither one is recommended. Health warnings do not apply. If you stupid to drink it, you deserve everything you get. All it has going for it is that it burns with a rather fetching blue flame. Other uses can be an engine de-greaser, curry stain remover, glass etcher, Room 101 torture.
LOL
An Irvin Mayfield is just a Corona ...

You've edited/added since my first reply. I'm surprised to see that a "Jacob Lusk" would be stirred slowly, but since I'm unfamiliar with both gin and Fassionola, perhaps, it makes sense. For P squared, they just need to do something swampy

The alcohol 'day after' was so bad, now I can't even stand the smell of the stuff
I just caught that the "Pia Toscano" uses one bottle of Apricot Brandy
Considering some of these others, I'm glad a Haley Reinhart is only Scotch and Cinnamon
The first S11 Idol I found with a drink is
“The Jessica Sanchez”
8 oz. Moonshine
Serve on rocks. Garnish with twist of lemon.
