When she said she had to "pay" for her song, I wonder...meaning someone else wanted it and she had to trade, or did she really have to pay someone for the right to sing their song? Wonder how much something like that costs?!? It was worth it

Makes me think , how much will someone else have to pay Haley to sing her songs someday? HAha Payback!

Yes, I can't wait for that day too! Her dad did mention to Himm I think that that's when the real $$ comes in, with publishing rights to her songs.

Seriously, we all couldn't be happier for you and Haleyholic. As much as we were all thrilled to listen live on the radio, we all secretly were wishing to be sitting right where you were at. Little did we know how special those seats were.

I have to laugh about the spy camera...the over thinking got to you and you DID buy the camera. I think it would be hilarious just to see some of that footage...don't delete it, it has Halien Superfan written all over it.

Maybe Haley's expectations were too high for her performance. I know artists tend to be perfectionists. She might have thought she could have done better. From our end, as listeners, she was out of this world wonderful...even with my Haleyenized glasses removed.

We will always remember her first Carnegie Hall appearance and for some of us that memory will be taken to a whole other level...congrats Tusk on your NY Halien adventure. Life is like a box of chocolates...

Tusk: I'M SO SO JEALOUS of you and Haleyholic and any other Haliens that were in the audience. I learned from experience (Lollapalooza) that hangin' out with you gets you treats that you don't expect! You are the great factual Story-teller and Haleyholic is the great fictional Story-teller! Loved the recap and so excited that you had your dreams come true.

Thank you Tusk for the great recap. I have been listening to "Blues In the Night" and "God Bless The Child" on repeat today via those YT audio clips. Turned the songs up loud--real loud! I think Haley might have had a bit of nerves starting "Blues", but she quickly shrugged that off and and nailed it by the end and "God Bless The Child" sounded epic. Sounds like the crowd gave her big applause after both songs. Seriously, Irving should talk to Haley about appearing on his next CD or performing with his band in New Orleans.

What a night for her...wow....onward and upwards for the Hales...

Tusk, the reason your story is so great, to me, is because you gave the personal support and comments we would all love to give, personally. You made them all smile which is wonderful.

I hope Haley does not feel too much pressure or feel she must achieve certain things for her family and fans. She was doing what she loves, maybe once in a lifetime and she should commit it to memory and feel good about it all. If she is happy then I am happy, and Haliens are happy, just like her family would feel I'm sure. She slayed.

We would have been there with you, Tusk! The date killed it for us as we head west this coming Friday, for something we could not change. As I listened to the audio, last night, I felt tremendous envy of every Halien fortunate enough to be able to be there in person. Not giving up tho!! I'll have my day! Thanks for the great story!! And your misadventures made me feel better too. Been ''there'' done ''that''. The Super Shuttle driver needs to be seriously fired! It's bad business for tourism.
