Thx Tusk...No blood clots this time. I was dreaming of seeing Haley at either the "American Idol Experience" at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park or performing at the "Hard Rock Cafe" where we had dinner in Universal Studios... no such luck ...but we did see the "Blue Man Group" there and my son was chosen to go onstage for a long segment where they used him as a human paint brush. I also couldn't resist getting Harry Reinhart a birthday (11/15) souvenir from the United Kingdom shop in EPCOT's World Showcase of drink coasters made from mini versions of all the Beatles albums.

They chose him because he was the same body type as one of the bluemen. He was told before the show started what would happen so the bluemen walked on the backs of audience seats to snag him out of his chair and bring him on stage. Put some blue paint on his face and put him in a full coverage white suit and a helmet. Took him backstage with cameras following him showing the action on a big screen. Sprinkled blue paint on the suit and then threw the whole bucket of paint on him and used a paint roller to cover the whole suit. Strapped a rope around his feet and hoisted him upside down hanging from the rafters and started banging him against a 3'x7' canvas and outlining his body with pink spray paint. Then hauled him in a big box out on stage with a big Jello mold surrounding his head which they trimmed off his head and let him out of the box. Turns out it was a stunt double being banged against the canvas that the audience only saw as a video on the screen. My son was undamaged but didn't get to keep the artwork that he made (although it wasn't actually him). So Haley Reinhart isn't the only Wheeling High School Graduate to perform on a large stage in front of an audience of people from around the world (athough my son sure can't match Haley's Fame)

Sounds fun and scary! I'd love to see the show one day, it's always looked cool in videos

I just realized when playing back my video of Haley's Oh Darlin Stage It segment when she shows what I thought were Beatles CD's on her coffee table that they actually were the same album cover coasters that I just bought in EPCOT last week for Harry's birthday.

Himm, so was your son full of blue paint, or was it the stunt double? Did he have to walk around the rest of the day (or night) covered in paint? Hehe

They painted his body suit blue onstage but when they took him offstage (away from the camera) they changed him into a dried paint suit and shoved him into this small 3'x3'x3' box and put a Jello mold over his head before they rolled the box back on stage after the "pre-recorded" video from backstage was over. They handed him the canvas to take back to his seat but as he tried to keep the canvas for his apartment a staff member took him & the canvas out in the hall and took off the dry suit and they kept the dry canvas to reuse for the next show. He was bummed that he didn't get to keep the painting after all he went thru.
