Hello fellow Haliens,
Well, here I am at last. Actually, I was going to join sooner but the registration was locked so I was unable. What brought me here this time was when I stumbled upon my StageIt tweets on here and decided it was as good a time as any to jump onboard. (I was very relieved to see that the general sentiments towards me were positive so I felt comfortable in joining up.)

I may know some of you from Twitter without even knowing it. Also, a few of you I did meet at the last StageIt chat room. That was fun. As far as StageIt goes, I hope there are no hard feeling there. I just got the fever and couldn't stop myself from going all out on it.

Anyhoo, as this is my first post here I will cut it short. I'm happy to be here. Hopefully, this will be the start of a beautiful relationship. And, Tusk, I'll keep an eye out for you in Las Vegas tomorrow. I'll be the guy with the blue hat on.

Thank you. I'm glad you like my little framing job. It looks great on my wall. I did see the 2nd place prize and it is very nice. Actually, that was the one I was going to go for until the fever took hold. I wish I HAD only spent $300. Then I wouldn't be working so hard to pay down my credit card balance. LOL.

I have a giving heart and it isn't dark anymore lol the light has shined.

I remember you as one of the TVLine/Haleyloonies origingals

I have to head to the airport tomorrow @ 2am , so I'll be the dishevelled looking one that looks like he needs sleep....

I'm not even sure what to expect for this...It's wide open how Haley will do this....

She could do a Beatles' covers....other classic rock songs...Jazz songs, along with her LU songs. The play book is wide open at this point to fill 115 minutes a night....

I wonder if she'll repeat sets or do different songs per night? She has to have a pretty big song book to chose from, the question is if Keith and Courtney know them to be able to perform them (I think if John had gone too, that definitely would have opened up to more rock oriented songs like Zeppelin, I'd like to hear another performance of "Spiderweb")

BTW Swansteel, keep us updated on what you can about your lunch with Haley and Funglaw

Yeah, as far as the lunch goes, that is still way up in the air. Fung has been in contact with Haley's people, but I'm sure she is just too busy of late to settle on a time. In a way, I am okay with some delay on the lunch so I can pay down StageIt some more before then. LOL.

I did ask Keith if he and the band have practiced anything new. All he could tell me was that they have had to practice stuff separately because of how far apart they are all. Haley has said she will be doing stuff from LU!, some covers and maybe some jazz as well. It should be great.

I'm sure Haley appreciated everyone's generosity as it likely provided a nice infusion of cash as she makes the transition to working/gigging musician.

Haley's stuck between being a recording artist and a gigging musician at the moment. Her development is going to suffer if things don't start rolling in the new year. She won't be able to put her best foot forward if she's part of a band that only plays together occasionally.

I sure am. I am scheduled at work until 8:00, but I am hoping to catch most of the show. The same thing happens Friday, but on Sat. I am off work at 6:00 so I hope to finish with a bang (or at least get a better seat).
