If this fellow were interested in aiding Haley in her career it would be prudent to begin with Chiara in Los Angeles and not travel halfway across the country to bother Haley at her home with her family during the holiday season. Besides being inappropriate showing up at her house unannounced, it is also wrongheaded thinking that Haley would be the one to approach about business propositions. This just sounds weird to me and makes me feel a little uncomfortable.

I have to laugh at the absurdity of alot of what I have done in the past year, traveling and all. Very uncharacteristic of me to travel this much. (Usually once a year to Vegas is it for me.) It's been an adventure, certainly, but absurd nonetheless

who's to say he hasn't contacted Chiara?
I understand your consternation, but if it is who I think it is, I have a hard time believing that he would do something as rash and spur of the moment as this appears to be. I have to believe that there has been previous communication

Not sure how I feel about this or if I have any right to comment without knowing any more than a daughter's tweet. If this is actually happening I would think this person has already had discussions with Haley (if he knows where to meet her) and I believe it's her and her parents that make decisions about her career with Chiara tweeking the promotions.

Let's just say that I haven't posted "everything" that went on in Vegas.
Most artists would probably prefer a younger demographic for fans, especially impressive to the recording industry.

That being said, having a more 'mature' fan base has advantages of it's own, one being some of them may have the resources to help in more significant ways.

Regardless, Haley's family will have her best interests at heart, and it is in her 'home court' so to speak. She's also remarkably sharp, so if there is something untoward, she and her family will know it.

It could be they were traveling to Chicago to see someone else and/or this offer is a Christmas gift to their daughter. Or maybe he and his wife intend it to be a Christmas gift for Haley.

"Invest" and "help u produce 2nd album" might mean foot the bill for studio time. Haley would first need new material. Maybe they are thinking she could polish and release the Ole tracks.

In any case, we know creating an album is only half the battle. It still needs to be distributed and promoted. Theoretically it's possible to do both over the Internet. Realistically, Haley would need to tour to support it. Perhaps they think she could approach a new label with a finished album in hand.

I've never been a 'networker', but I believe that is exactly what I did in Vegas, and I'm sure there was alot of networking going on with Haley and Chiara as well, as she was always surrounded by people after each set, some were fans, others were more 'official' looking

It really speaks to what can happen if you are true to yourself, believe in your talent and put your best effort forward. Haley has done this with each performance and basically hit the triple crown in Vegas with those memorable performances. In a way, this might have been her auditioning for the next stage in her career, for someone to take a chance on her and her talent.

The Interscope split and relatively low promotion has been a sort of 'call to action' in a lot of ways to some of Haley's fans.

That's what my trip to Vegas was primarily about, my need to 'help out', in my own way. To let Haley's fans, including myself, know that "Haley's Journey" did not end there. Knowing that it was potentially 2 hours of performances per night, before hand, I knew it was a perfect opportunity to showcase Haley as well as let her fans know she is OK and looking forward.

I spoke to several Haliens in Vegas who were not posters, but big fans of Haley, and many spoke about wanting to 'do something', that they didn't want the talent they see in Haley, to not get a good chance at succeeding. So it's not surprising to me that some Haliens, who have more resources than I, would also like to help in some way with her career.
