RE: Next album will be blusier
Thanks for all the responses & the warm welcome you guys! I'm happy Haley chose to go in this direction as well.
I don't expect the 2nd album to be a dramatic departure from "Listen Up", because I think that album was true to who Haley is and showed a lot of different sides of her musical tastes. What I think she'll be doing is taking, what I assume is her favorite part of her sound & trying to develop that. So I expect her new songs will be in the same vain as "Oh My", "Wasted Tears", "Hit the Ground Running" & "Keep Coming Back" but better... Between Haley's tweet about the song she wrote at the ole camp, basically saying she thought it was the best thing she'd ever written, going into this album as a more experienced writer, having a better idea of what she wants, already knowing the writers she'll be working w/, & having quite a bit more time to work on this album, I think some of these new tracks are going to blow people away... We'll just have to wait & see.
