I wasn't expecting to see anything about the Reinharts tonight when I went to a benefit for Christian Scanlon, a young boy with brain cancer and then to the high school for the girl's Basketball game...and I got not 1 but 3 perks tonight:

One of the items in the raffle was donated by Harry & Patti for the benefit...an autographed Photo & CD by Haley Reinhart. I had 7 raffle tickets to place for a chance to win and I put 1 ticket for a White Sox Mascot Toy, I put 1 ticket in for a $50 gift card to Tuscany Restaurant where Midnight will be performing soon and the remaining 5 tickets went into the Haley Prize. Haven't gotten any call that I won yet tonight.


When I got to the basketball game on the ticket table was a flyer promoting the Midnight Band appearing at the Chevy Chase Ballroom for the Wheeling High School Spur Club Golf/dinner/dance.


Then at break between the Girl's game and the Boy's game, who should appear at center court to receive her award for "Girl's Track & Field" Honor Pack (In recognition of your hardwork, dedication and leadership)

She greeted me in the stands with a hug when I asked if I could take a photo of her award. I told her about the raffle of her sister's autographed items just down the road at St. Joes Social Hall.

A very fun Reinhart-related Night that I wasn't expecting!

Sounds like you had a fun night Himm. With your luck ,you probably won at least one of those prizes too!

^^Himm2, when I first saw the picture of the Haley auction items I thought that you not only won them but that you went ahead and bought the tupperware container as well to complete the package. LOL.

Ahhh... to be a carefree hippie again - and still have my hair like Harry's (except I had bangs) and Patti looks much like my wife did back then. Funny coincidence that Harry & I both married gals with the last name of Miller, and we both moved to Wheeling in May of 1988 and lived here happily ever after.
