Also, I want to say, this whole Nikki/Mariah thing is sad. Nikki has been on the "gets animosity from older women who don't want the attention being taken away from them" a few times. Mariah is no exception. And it's sad because before this (and even still..maybe..) Nikki was clearly genuinely a big Mariah fan.

edit: Amber's second song was fantastic. It's so strange..she's clearly wanting to go into the modern R&B sound. But I like her much better with a bit of jazz or even the Rock/Heart week.

Unless the Scotty & Lauren Fans vote in mass numbers it looks like Janelle may be saying bye-bye tomorrow. But funny that of these top 5 girls, the one I'd probably most like to meet would be Janelle. Bet she'd be the only one of the five that would sit down at Tusk, Himm, Swanny & Miguel's table after her first set in the bar was done.

Angie did great singing "I'll stand by you", but in my opinion, nobody can compare to Carrie Underwood. Carrie just has the perfect voice for that song, even if Haley sang it. Sorry Hales, still love you <3

Yah looks like Janelle is in trouble, she's talented, but the others feel like at another competitive level than she is. I don't know how big her fan base is, I wonder if she gets eliminated (and saved) next week, that her country fans combined with Kree's country fans will be big enough to knock Candice to second place?

The country fan base did manage to push two country singers to 1 and 2 in Season 10 after all...

I feel pretty much the same this week as last.Kree has grown on me and I like that the judges acknowledge her versatility.Amber surprised me with her second song-I was impressed but honestly not as much as the judges were but she's young and I still see potential.

But Candice stood right there and did her own version of a song done by two divas,one of which was sitting right in front of her which shows the confidence she must be feeling at this point and that was the highlight for me.

Interesting to actually see some respect from Nikki towards Mariah tonight and I think that they actually made eye contact a couple of times.

Nicki lashing out earlier in the season might have been a reaction to Mariah's indifference/narcicism/Diva attitude towards a fan (Nicki). I wonder what happened to make Nicki so 'anti Mariah' for most of the season....?

It really 'humanized' Nicki, for the first time this season IMO... I wonder if the two made up afterward....

I wonder if someone there talked to her -or both of them.In the beginning-and even pre season in promos they tried to play up the "cat fight" thing which I'm sure they thought would attract more viewers.But except for maybe a small incident early on the cat fight never materialized.

Instead what ensued was an ugly vibe that permeating everything where if the two of them were ever in the same frame together and one of them was commening the other one was sitting there frowning or looking bored to death.Its never been anything resembling a friendly rival kind of thing and I'm sure it turned off alot of viewers and did nothing to improve ratings which have been pretty dismal.

Amber's second song was a huge risk, but it's certainly not something that has been performed to death on the show. Someone on TVLine made the observation that it's not Whitney, Mariah, or Beyonce that Amber is "channeling," but Natalie Cole. I think it's a spot on observation!

I am watching this season, and there is no doubt these five girls can all sing, especially Candace. But, to me, rarely do you see much connection or emotion with the songs. None of them can really perform or move, except maybe Janelle who at least looks like she is having a good time. Although, she will probably be gone tonight.

I predict Candace wins over Kree in the final.
