If we keep getting storms with massive flooding like we have in April and just this morning - I think we may be playing water polo or have a fishing derby instead of Volleyball and croquet in the detention basin:

My sump pump is running constantly and I found out my portable backup got burnt out last april in that flood and I ran out to buy a new one and couldn't get down most of the roads due to standing foot deep water blockades. So I'm trapped here until things subside. So far no real damage except my ballpark infield & outfield is under water as is most of my backyard. My pitchers mound hole floated toward the shortstop position.

Looks like I'll be bringing some buckets.

Too bad Wheeling planted trees along the rim of the Detention Basin next to my house because the year after I built my house two friends drove to Chicago in their 30 foot motorhome and parked it on the rim for the week and I gave them a power & water connection from my home. And unfortunately my driveway has a slope to it otherwise you could drive to our shindig in your Hotel on Wheels and park in my drive.

tHAX himm THE truck didn't come with it But it would be cool to go cross country in this. Gas yikes 7 or 8 hundered i'll fly Im gona keep it for a while and than sell it but for now it's all good just me. no wife or G/F

Congrats on the sale, I'm still reeling from my place losing 2/3 of it's 'value' mostly due to all the foreclosures happening around me. I'm told it should adjust when those foreclosures clear up

Is that travel trailer in Texas or did you buy it (unseen) from someone in California?

It is un seen but I know the guy who has it kinda He is retired I gave him a deposit. lots can happen between now and next month I told him if someone with cash comes along sell it but he said he would sell it to me. saw pics of it and it is well maintained with lots of extras.
