Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it to the Chicago party. Yes, I'm bummed about it, but forces beyond my control (mostly monetary) have made it impossible for me to attend. It goes without saying that I am counting on detailed reports and (hopefully) some cool videos on all the goings on. I'll be particularly sad if Haley does come to the bar-b-que and hangs out with everyone since I'll be missing it. My only consolation is the Las Vegas show, which turned up at such an opportune time.

I hope Haley is coming to the barbeque! I was assuming that she is...I want to see that hula hoopin in real life. hehe and be able to hang out with her. Himm, tell me it's true.

Swansteel, I'm sorry you won't be able to join us. I was looking forward to meeting you, but I understand it's an expensive venture.

I'm sorry I won't be meeting you too, Babbs, as well as the other Haliens I haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet (particularly the mysterious Miguel, whom I wanted to see with my own eyes to see if he was real).

Harry confirmed with me Friday that Haley is looking forward to the Shindig party as is the rest of the family! And Harry is inviting all his bandmates as well.

I was going to suggest to Babbs that you make certain that there is guacamole at the party, and be sure to let Haley know it's there. But I guess you already have confirmation. (Still having guac wouldn't hurt!)

And MAE, yes I definitely think there should be guacamole at the party. We'll have it . If none else wants to, I'll make it. My daughter makes excellent gauc, but she won't be home unfortunately. But I love gauc too.

I will not be able to attend. My wife was recently diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and is in the midst of aggressive treatment.
