The BG Days show was amazing. Buzz and I both figured that there was easily 1000 people or more listening and rocking out to Haley, Angie, and The Midnight Band.
It was pretty much standing room only. Or sitting, if you were lucky enough to have chairs, thanks Himm! There were many enthusiastic people of all ages in the crowd, and I met many Haliens that I had not yet met but I already felt like I knew thanks to HF. This is my favorite Haley show so far, I had a great time!
One of the songs that Haley has surprised me with in the past is "Cant Find My Way Home". Haley and Harry performed a duet of this song tonight, and it was amazing:

Thank goodness, I was getting depressed watching the vids I got, the distortion almost made it not worth posting. I got your "My Cake", so can work on that, but didn't get WIAWSNB so if I could get that, I can put that up too, rather than put up the distorted one I got

Cherelanne, this trip was already worth it meeting up with all the Haliens, but, as I posted on Twitter, this was THE best show of all the shows I've had the fortune to see. All the rehearsals they did paid off. Haley was in tip top shape and she performed with an energy that surely drew from performing her songs with her family. It's an understatement to say Harry was amazing, but.....Dam, did he shred... Crazy amazing (that word again)!!

My Rock and Roll heart was appeased, love the jazz, but this guy has been waiting (Im)patiently for Rock Haley, and it took the ol' bluesman, Harry, to draw it out of her. After the show I gushed to Harry, he had a smile a mile wide . From the stage, he said thanks! Let me shake your hand and reached out the neck of guitar to me so I could shake it LOL. Wish someone took a picture of that, for me, very memorable moment.
I hope hope hope someone got a good recording of Spiderweb...

Wow, what a treat to wake up and get to hear some of what happened and see some footage and great audio! You guys are amazing - I know how much work and thought it takes to do this - and post so quickly late at night to end a really long day! Thank you!

I love your dedication to good audio - love seeing the videos and getting the feel of it (and seeing the wind flow in Haley`s hair - wow!) but in the end of the day I find the audio the most important. In my ideal world I'd have her next CD plus a CD-quality compilation of live performances where the energy flows like it just doesn't usually in a studio recording. Wouldn't that be something!

Wait until you hear THE best performance of "My Cake" to date... the audio is astounding.. how is that possible with that technology. You can hear almost all the lyrics clearly

example: "Long as you keep the lovin' good, don't worry bout me leavin you Wu Wu..."

I could never catch that lyric before

I hope the coffee is strong! I can totally see myself getting immersed in "just a little" file processing like that and then somehow it suddenly is six, uh oh ... Wow, sleep is important - but isn't sleepy-eyed satisfaction with work that just was too good to not do now something, too! I hope you're the "don't need much sleep anyway" type (I am not). Maybe being only half awake helps the karaoke ...

I am on board with that! Love the jazz a ton as well - but a slight bit of occasional Rock Haley would/should really rock!

Now I just see: video is up! Thank you so much, Tusk, for this product of sleep loss and nightly labor! This will be a great breakfast treat for Haliens all over. I think I'll brew my own cup of (early afternoon here) coffee and then listen with all my senses on full go!
