Things you wished you had asked Haley & The Reinharts
Damn, I forgot to ask...
You know the feeling. You get done with a conversation and you think, I forgot to ask...well, after the Wheeling Shindig I'm sure many of us who were there or those who wished they had been there have questions that would have been great to ask at the time. Here's your chance to articulate those questions in hope of one day receiving a response.
Five questions:
1. Harry...when you get up in the middle of the night and head to the bathroom 1/2 asleep, how much would you give, just once, to have the toilet seat up?
2. Haley...has it ever occurred to you there might be a crazy stalker or two lurking on HF.com? (subliminal clue - XOXOXONUGXOXOBABBSXOXOXO)
3. Patti...is there any way you could do that happy dance again, the one you did in the Idol audience after Haley sang HOTRS?
4. Angie...if there is one question about your sister that you wished would never be asked again, what would it be?
5. Haley...have you been using the Randy Jackson dart board?

RE: Things you wished you had asked Haley & The Reinharts
Buzz, I was coming here to give you kudos for a great thread idea!!
Then I realized it must have been your wifes idea.
I actually do have something I wish I would have told her....it's not a question, it's kind of serious, but to be honest I was afraid I'd start bawling while telling her. Buzz, your wife commented on me tearing up when I was talking to her, this is what it was about:
When she was on the show, I was very sick and depressed, and had pretty much resigned myself to a belief that my cancer was unstoppable, and I would soon die. I hope this doesn't sound trite, but Haleys way of living in the moment, no regret of the past, and no fear that things "won't work out" rubbed off on me. I fully desired to learn to be that way again, to pull myself up and focus on the good, satisfied in the small positives life hands us. Watching her overcome all of the obstacles she had on the show, the "que sera" attitude, coming out fighting every time she got knocked down, really inspired me to take my health into my hands. I have a long list of things that she inspired me to do in that way, quit smoking, I lost weight (50 lbs so far), quit eating unhealthy food, really it's a very long list when I write it all out- more than 11 life changing actions I took.
It's hard to believe that someone so young can see life so clearly, it's easy for the young to "take life by the $#**&", but to be so true to herself, her family, her beliefs, her place in this world, to want to change things and to actively go for...it's the biggest lesson anyone can learn.

Wow...there's nothing I would say to make light of this heart-felt post. She is inspiring...and you inspire us NUG!
I guess it's medical marijuana now... (only Buzz could find humor in the midst of pain and suffering)

Good question NUG...which leads me to a cute story about Patti's sister, Danni (short for Danielle?) while we were at the concert. She was sitting right behind us along with her sister Marilyn...two of the 6 daughters, Patti being the baby. Danni introduced me to Marilyn and said "This is my older sister" and then got such a chuckle out of that. She said, "I always like to introduce her like that." We had so much fun talking before the concert...they are both so cute and funny. Later, when the concert had started, I felt a little tap on my shoulder. Danni leaned forward and I bent down to put my ear right by her because the music was loud. She pointed up to the stage and said..."That's Patti and that's Angie"...how funny is that? After the concert I told her, "I want to adopt you and take you back to Minnesota." She laughed and asked, "What will Kathy say?"
